Just how did Serendipity Cupcakes become my dream—— It all started when I 5 years old. I really loved to bake, so my parents had this old chest of drawers that they converted into an oven for me. It was painted white and it had 4 painted black burners on top of the chest, which my oldest brother Tim painted on for me and it had 4 knobs made out of thread spools to turn the burners on. I enjoyed baking mud pies with these purple berries that I garnished the top of the pie with. So, this was my start of baking.
